Effect of Feeding Different Doses of Broom Fish (Pterygoplichthys spp) on Fattening Mangrove Crab (Scylla sp)

Scylla sp (mangrove crab) is a fishery commodity with important economic value. For breeding, feed is needed as a source of energy. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of feeding different doses of Broomstick fish (Pterygoplichthys spp) on Mangrove crabs (Scylla sp). The research was carried out at the Indonesian Muslim University (UMI) Makassar training pond, at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences. This study was started from September to October 2021. The study consisted of 4 treatments and 3 replications, namely: Treatment A (dose of 5%), B (10%), C (15%), and D (20%). The results showed that the highest survival, growth, and changes in body chemistry were obtained in treatment D (dose of 20%).
