Analysis of Technical Factors Affecting the Number of Catches on Boat Lift Net in Bone District

Abstract

This study aims to determine the fishing boat lift net unit, catch composition, and technical factors that affect the catch. The research was conducted from January to February 2022 in Lamuru Village, Tellu Siattinge District, Bone Regency. The data collection method in this study was carried out by the census method. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive and statistical methods. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the fishing rods unit consists of 4 (four) parts, namely the fishing fleet or boats, fishing gear, fishing aids and fishermen. The composition of the catch on the chomp chart during the study were anchovies, fringesscale sardinella, pony fish, layang scad and squid. The results of statistical analysis obtained multiple linear regression equation Y = -604.632 + 0.171X1 + 112.527X2 + (-14,148)X3 + 47,209X4 + 61,420X5 + Ɛ that the factor of the number of lights used is (X1), ship size (X2 ), the capacity of the crane on board (X4) and the experience of the captain (X5) have a positive effect on the total number of catches (Y) while the area of ​​the net used (X3) has a negative effect on the total number of catches (Y).
