Mapping of Fishing Areas with Pryer Boat Charts Based on Time Series in Bone Bay Waters

Abstract

This study aims to identify aspects of the technique of cungkil boat chart, mapping of fishing area zones based on monthly time series, composition of species target catches based on monthly time series and composition of species target catches based on distance and depth of water. This research was conducted in March 2020 - February 2021, the research location was in Bone Bay. The data are mapped using a recorded position on the GPS which is then overlaid into the Novianic Asia Africa application display. This study aims to identify the technical aspects of the prying boat chart, mapping of fishing areas based on monthly time series, composition of catches based on season, distance and water depth. The results of the analysis found that the gouge fishing gear are included in the boat chart classification as the Bouke Ami with the operating method using lights (light fishing) as an attraction for collecting fish (phototaxis), the DPI zone based on the monthly time series shows the concentration of catching is in coastal waters. east of Bone Bay, the proportion of fish caught is dominated by anchovy (Steleporus devisi), squid (Loligo sp), Tembang (Sardinella fimbriata) and the concentration of caught is at a distance of 0.4 - 2.4 mill with a depth of 15 - 50 meters and bullet tuna (Auxis rochei), Mackerel scad (Decapterus ruselli) and short mackerel (Rastrelliger kanagurta) with a distance of 12 - 24 mill from the coast at a depth of ≥ 200 meters.
