Determination of Optimal Cruise Routes Coastal Zone with a Combination System of Flat Navigation and Electronic Navigation (Case Study : the Estuary Channel of the Fishery Port in Bone)

Abstract

This study aims to identify the position of navigation aids and dangerous corals in order to optimize effective cruise routes based on a combination of paper marine map views, GPS maps and google eart application. The method used is observation, while the data is analyzed descriptively in the images and tables, for the calculation of coordinate points and distance values use the menu in the Google Earth Pro 2019, Garmin 585 GPS map and the distance point on the paper marine map on plotting the map. The results on there were differences in the display of the position and distance of a navigation aid in the Navigation Publication Book (2014 DSI Book) with a combination of field measurements ranging from 737 - 935 meters, besides that there were differences in the number and position of danger signs (corals) on the Google eart application, paper marine maps and electronic marine maps on the Garmin 585 GPS, Therefor a combination measurement to be done, especially the use of the google eart application for validation so that the creation of a new cruise route in the Optimal Coastal Zone of the Estuary Channel Fishery Port in Bone with a Combined System of Flat and Electronic Navigation.
